Starsuckers is een actuele en controversiële documentaire over de nietsontziende werkwijze van de entertainmentjournalistiek. Regisseur Chris Atkins komt hem persoonlijk voorstellen.
Aansluitend debat over de crisis in medialand. Gaat kwaliteitsjournalistiek ten onder aan de wetten van de markt? Had ik het niet gezegd? - Groene auto's
De Morgen bevestigt...
Ik had het al gezegd (namelijk op 16 december 2009) en vandaag (11 maart 2010) zegt ook De Morgen het: 'Groene auto's niet zo groen.' Voorpaginanieuws zelfs: 'Het bedrog van de ecowagen, groene auto krijgt schaamrood.'
Een recente studie toont namelijk aan dat de werkelijke CO2-uitstoot van 'zuinige' auto's 40% hoger ligt dan de officiële cijfers. In een kaderstukje wijst de krant nog op het feit dat autoreclame vaak ook nog eens in strijd is met de wet.

Mental Must 4 Musical Mess

I guess i have to admit i’m a fan of Quentin Tarantino. Not because i like his movies that much (alhough i do), but mainly because of the irresistible soundtracks to these films.
Although i think that Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, From Dusk Till Dawn, Jackie Brown, Kill Bill I, II, III and IV are no less than brilliant, what i particularly like about Tarantino is the music he uses to stuff his films with. Goddamn, even in his worst motion pictures he manages to produce soundtracks that blow my socks off. That’s the least you can say.
I made several compilations of those soundtracks for myself, but recently i started diggin’ the world wide web for some mixtapes and whaddayaknow i found a whole bunch of them. So instead of doin’ my own mixes, i can just click on them. Ain’t that some piece of advanced science. (Or maybe a kind of lazyness from my part, that’s another way to see it.) Anyway, i want to present the first part of some of the best stuff i found out there on the net, hoping that you people join in and find me some more. But no longer am i going to waste your precious time. Music is what you’re here for, so that’s exactly what you’re gettin’. In the mean time, don't forget to check the trunk.
